Privacy Policy

Drip Roast is an anonymous outfit-battle app. You do not create an account and we do not ask for your name, email or phone number to use it. This policy explains what we collect and why. Drip Roast is for users aged 18 and over.

No account, no contact details. We do not require an email, phone number or login. Instead, we generate a random anonymous identifier on your device so your battles stay associated with your device without identifying you.

Content you create:

• Photos you upload for a battle (your two outfit photos)
• The question/title and category you add to a battle
• Votes you cast (which fit you picked) and any comment you add

Optional identity (“Show my @”). Voting is anonymous by default. If you choose to reveal yourself when voting, we store the name and/or social handle you enter and attach it to that vote, so the battle’s creator can see who voted. This is entirely optional and off unless you turn it on.

Notifications. If you enable push notifications, we store a device push token so we can tell you when your battle gets votes. You can turn this off any time in iOS Settings.

Diagnostics. Basic device and app information (device type, OS version, app version) and crash/performance data, used to keep the app working.

• To run the core loop: create battles, share links, collect and show votes
• To show a battle’s creator who voted, only where a voter chose to reveal their identity
• To send vote notifications, if you enabled them
• To operate Drip Roast Pro subscriptions
• To keep the service safe (reviewing reports, removing content, blocking abuse)

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not generate fake messages, fake votes or fake “admirers”.

Battles are designed to be shared. Your battle photos and live results are publicly viewable by anyone who has the battle link (e.g. driproast.link/f/…) and may appear in the in-app Discover feed for other users to vote on. Please don’t post anything you wouldn’t want seen publicly. Votes are anonymous unless the voter opts to reveal their name/handle.

We use trusted providers purely to operate the app:

• Supabase — hosting, database and image storage
• Apple — subscription billing and push notification delivery
• RevenueCat — managing subscription entitlements

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect users’ safety.

• Vote anonymously (the default) — simply don’t turn on “Show my @”
• Turn notifications on or off in iOS Settings
• Report or block content and users from the Discover feed
• Request deletion of your battles or data (see Contact below)

We keep content for as long as it’s needed to run the service. To delete your battles, your revealed identity, or other data tied to your device, email us at the address below and we’ll action it.

Drip Roast is strictly for users 18 and over. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the app, contact us and we will remove the data.

We may update this policy. We’ll revise the date above when we do.
